SHY SERIES BALE MILL VINEYARD
The historic Bale Mill Vineyard is located on the northwest benchlands of Saint Helena at the top of an alluvial fan created by Mill Creek. The soils here are incredibly rocky and well-drained, formed by the gravel bands of the Mill Creek as it shifted positions over thousands of years. The 34-year-old, low-yielding vines are meticulously farmed by grower Jim Gamble and his team. The Gamble family has stewarded vines and cattle in the Napa Valley for generations.
