2019 DAKOTA SHY CABERNET SAUVIGNON SOCIAL CURRENCY

TASTING NOTES

Totally seductive aromas of dark cherry, anise, baking chocolate and mineral. Flavors of exotic dark fruits, cocoa, spices and herb are carried on a plush, silken wave of texture that pushes on to a long, gorgeous finish. Structured and powerful but layered with silk. This beautiful Cabernet is delicious now and will continue to improve for years. Classic Social Currency – sophisticated hedonism at its best.

SOCIAL CURRENCY

What is the greatest “currency” of life? We believe it is our social interactions, often built around meals and great bottles of wine – those times during which we build life-long memories with family and friends.

Crafted from two distinctly different vineyards whose diametrically opposed characters meld into a remarkable whole. From a steep hillside vineyard at the top of Mount Veeder comes classic Cabernet Sauvignon with immense framing tannins and bracing acidity – and from alluvial soils on the valley floor in St. Helena comes Cabernet that is all opulent fruit and texture. Together they are an incredibly refined, powerful and seductive Cabernet blend.
